While traditional lithium-ion batteries have served as the cornerstone of EVs, solid-state batteries (SSBs) are being hailed as the next big thing. But what makes them so special, and can they really transform the EV landscape? Understanding Solid-State Batteries: What Are They?

To understand how solid-state batteries could reshape the EV industry, it’s essential first to grasp what they are and how they differ from conventional lithium-ion batteries.
